Open Letter to Our Clients:

Dear Madams and Sirs:

You are grown adults. Use one "?" to punctuate a sentence, two if you are truly baffled and are trying to emote. Use ellipses rarely. And for the love of God, spell your own name correctly and with capital letters!

Only in scriptwriting.

ellipsis
1.
a. The omission of a word or phrase necessary for a complete syntactical construction but not necessary for understanding.
b. An example of such omission.
2. A mark or series of marks ( . . . or * * * , for example) used in writing or printing to indicate an omission, especially of letters or words.

mm, i guess... i use the two fold. one as in previous sentence, to indicate trailing off. another is as a pause in a dialog, usually inside quote marks denotign speech.
