You Know My Name

Bond 22, A Quantum of Solace, is coming out on November 7. I was thinking "You know, someone should organize a viewing of Casino Royale the weekend before" when I realized that the weekend before was Halloween. Am I the only person who would get majorly excited about an evening of tuxedos, evening gowns, martinis, poker, a little light roleplay, and spy movies either on Friday (10/31) or Saturday (11/1)?

Interesting Thought

A 24-hour content blackout to protest the continued idiocy in lj's corporate management. I've often heard that 24-hour strikes of this kind are toothless, but it seems to me that anyone watching the actual up-and-down statistics would be very startled if something of this nature were even moderately successful.
