One of the local greasemonkeys is selling his old car. It's too old for a car loan, and too much for me to buy it with cash on hand.

try capital one auto finance... the site is www.peoplefirst.com, they were very good to me when I was on the verge of establishing good credit.

if not try to get a personal loan, the interest rates blow, but you may be able to pay it off quicker than the plan... just make sure there is no early pay off penalties
