Prophecies
Here's a prophecy I'm writing for a Forsaken LARP I'm running next year. I want to know if it's too vague or too specific. What would you expect it to mean:
Eclipse
Three Years Ago, four friends parted ways when they failed to save the life of another. They have each made new allies and new enemies. Now they must return to the territory they once held, for their lost friend's final prophecy is about to be fulfilled:
'Twill be Three Years, Three Months, Three Days,
Once more we go into the fray!
The moon is high but casts no light,
The World dwells in eternal night.
The children return for one last time,
Else all will perish for one's crime.
What once was banished will return,
And if not stopped, cause all to burn.

A First Pass
Pretty straight-forward. This will go down something to the tune of 1,190 days after their friend bought the farm.
Once more we go into the fray!
The party is going to be heading back into a situation that may (or will) lead to a combat scenario.
The moon is high but casts no light,
Presumably there will be either a New Moon or a lunar eclipse the night this occurs.
The World dwells in eternal night.
This would seem to imply that something is affecting the Earth's rotation, or that the Sun has gone dark for some reason, but it could also just be driving home the line above.
The children return for one last time,
The children are the party. They're back. Duh.
Else all will perish for one's crime.
They need to solve the whatever's going to happen here or they're numbers are all up.
What once was banished will return,
The ancient evil is coming back. Time to read Mouldy's journal to see what he locked away in the fridge in the garage.
And if not stopped, cause all to burn.
Well damn, its a fire elemental. Go-go-gadget Halon!
