I don't like Day of Silence. I know it's for a good cause, but it strikes me that being silent to show that silence is wrong doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, you can't accurately explain why you're protesting because of the nature of the protest, and suchly you can't start a conversation that might change someone's mind. I always find that very frustrating.
