It's been a while.

So I've several times set out to post this past week, only to pass out before I get the chance. I brought back the Sicilian Death Plague, and it has been making it very difficult in adjusting to the six-hour time difference between here and Italy. I honestly believe that it would have taken me no time at all to get used to it had I been well. I've had to change my sleep schedule by as much as 8 hours by force of will alone on occasion. Still, getting up at four in the morning is kinda nice... And it could be worse. There was an awful hacking cough slowly moving its way up the 767 on the flight to Boston, and I'm very glad it didn't reach me before we left.

It was most enjoyable to live without any of my personal tech (with the exception of my credit card), I've been much better able to get a handle on what I need and what I don't. Ironically, I'm actually spending time getting better acquainted with the tech I do use, like IE and LaTeX.

Had fun with Andrew Monday, but sadly he couldn't stay the night. We had an interesting talk yesterday about STDs. He's so concerned about the Blood Test, it's really quite cute.
