Joss Whedon Hates Me

tpau and I have been watching Buffy Season 2. For those of you that have talked to me about it, I watched Season 1 when it aired on tv and didn't see it as a series worth further watching, so I was a little surprised that everyone I know seems to consider it a must-watch series. We just watched the Halloween episode, and I have one thing to say: Joss Whedon hates me.
See, I'm a Willow/Xander shipper. And it ain't never gonna happen. I know it, you know it, Joss knows it. He knows it so much that he teases me every episode. He also manages to push my kinky button in every episode. It makes me twitch.
One thing I've noticed about Buffy Season 2 is that it suffers from the exact same problem as Firefly did. I'm beginning to think it might be some strange writing quirk of Joss's. Someday, I may be able to place my finger on it.
