Which is worse - Charter or Verizon?

This is not a poll. I want details and reasons. I remember having Charter in college and hating it. There was no Cartoon Network. Quality of service (not just customer service) was spotty. I have Verizon now and am learning to hate it. Customer service is atrocious. Tell me your experiences.
