Goodbye, Badger

You were unabashedly yourself.

IAWTC.

That is totally true, and not an angle from which I'd thought of her.

Thanks.

Badger can't possibly be that common a name that you're not referring to the Badger I know, but I can't think where you would have met the one I know since you don't like conventions. So, um, which Badger are you referring to and what happened to her?

Badger was a Clarkie, a Wedgerat, a TIMster, a Filker, a Kinkster, and I daresay that if you knew someone named Badger, it is far more likely that you knew two Badgers than that you do not know her.

I don't know all the details, but I understand there was a fall and an extended stay in the hospital involved.

Edit: Oh, and I like certain cons quite well. The first time I met Badger face to face was at Gaming Weekend, which is pretty much a Con but less stressful and free. I played cards with her and Br'fin. I'd known her for five years then, and that was 10 years ago.

Did your Badger use a scooter to get around? (If she didn't, different Badger, if she did, probably the same one.)

At the time, she used crutches, though I wouldn't exactly call her my Badger.

Here's a pic from about 20 years ago (the things the internet dredges up).

It is the one I know then. I'll miss her-- she was fun. (The fact that I own a corset is entirely her fault.)

That is definitely how to define her...

I'm sorry to hear that, she was a wonderful soul.
