First off, has anyone had trouble reading newsgroups from gweep.net? Before it told me that it couldn't connect to the server. Now it's telling me that my group doesn't exist. groups.google.com disagrees.

The Birthday thing was nice, but I kinda wish it was over. I'd rather go to Crossroads all weekend. I've only made it to the whole game once all year. How is it that *I* am the only one who can rearrange their schedule for *MY* birthday?

So when I started working here, I was a little worried about being the only geek in the faculty. Yesterday, Esme (who looks JUST LIKE Harry Potter) grabbed me and asked the students "Isn't it weird that Ms. Potter is hanging out with Mr. Pettigrew?"

Yeah, I'm having problems with gweepnews. It wouldn't let me connect most of last night. Today, I'm getting warning that a bunch of the groups are bogus. I'll poke usagijer when he wakes up. :)

Don't feel bad/sad, I haven't managed to get to a single Crosroads all summer.

Where was I for this birthday thing?! I'm sorry man, i guess i'd assumed Dennis or someone would have people go and do something. Then again i never know people's birthdays. i couldn't even remember my own when i was a kid, and it was friggin christmas eve. Again sorry about that. :(
