Ewan McGregor as Alec Guinness and Ian McDiarmid as John DeLancie.

Most cynical political comment: Padmé Amidala ("So this is how liberty ends...with thunderous applause.").

Best Cameo: Wayne Pygram (exploring the Scorpius/Tarkin connection).

Worst melodrama: James Earl Jones (if IMDB is to be believed).

He doesn't. But the whole movie I was thinking that he looks just like John DeLancie and is acting particularly Qish.
