Botball 2006: Winners from the New England Tournament
Botball is a robotics education program for middle and high school students where students build and program autonomous robots. After a presentation by Prof. Holly Yanco on this year's game, in which teams designed robots for a flood rescue operation, some of the winners of the 2006 New England Regional Tournament will present their strategies, designs, results and lessons learned. Teams presenting their designs will be the Neary School (Southboro), Arlington High School, Waltham High School and Greater Lowell Technical High School. Finally, we will discuss ways that you can become involved in the Botball program, including the "Beyond Botball" competition for all ages.IEEE Robotics and Automation Society
