I'm enough of a geek that my fantasy tends to be the cyberpunk equivalent - "jacking straight across". Connecting two brains/minds directly. It is a really powerful fantasy that my mind keeps returning to, and has for nearly 20 years. (Before I picked up that phrase - which I think originated with William Gibson's Burning Chrome.)
