I'm no expert (only had sushi a couple of times), but its definitely a cooler experience when you have (1) a chef who is really good, (2) a chef who is really cool, and (3) lots of friens to eat/drink with. Zipango's (in Worcester) on a Monday night is all these things and more - it's all you can eat. I like it more for the experience of having Neo bring us tray after tray of Yellowtail, Salmon Surprise, and assorted other goodies - as well as the great dinner conversations that arise when 12 of my friends are eating for 3 hours.
PS - I feel like shit. No sushi tonight. Gonna go home and pass out instead.
