So I've got a question for you. I've got this idea for a short story with the working title "By Hubris Alone, I Survive." I've got ideas for opening, rising action, falling action, and even the denouement. But I can't really think of a Climax, though I know it needs one. How do you come up with one?

Hopefully, the climax will become obvious as you work on the plot. Or perhaps the characters and the interaction among them.

(There are whole books on this subject. :)

I can't remember if you're their Advocate General, but I had my first Krispy Kreme last night. A far off place in my childhood memories tells me that once-upon-a-time, Dunkin Donuts made stuff that was better, but that doughnut was heavenly.

Oh, I'm by no means their Advocate GENERAL. I'm more like a major or maybe a captain. :) At any rate, KKs are so much better than those nasty things they call 'donuts' at DD that there's no comparison.

(That ought to generate some flamage.)

That's how the main character interprets what's going on in his life. As for storyboarding it here, that would spoil the ending.
